Our work

The PRISMA team is gathering available public data informing AMR risk in the Irish environment, and mapping AMR risk variables using Google Earth Engine (GEE). Our objective is to provide on-demand AMR risk maps for Ireland at local, regional and national level, that can support AMR mitigation initiatives. The R code used in the project is available on GitHub:  https://github.com/BrianOSullivanGit/PRISMA_2023PSSRC925

PRISMA: Predictive RISk Mapping of AMR in Ireland

PRISMA is dedicated to mapping antimicrobial resistance (AMR) risk in Ireland, providing valuable insights for scientists, policymakers, and the public. Our goal is to enhance understanding and inform strategic actions to combat environmental AMR risk effectively. PRISMA is funded by the Irish Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM), grant number 2023PSSRC925.
